It was really a good gathering for our 1st Friday group. We had the most classmates present. Tan Sri Dr. Sak Cheng Lum, N. Jayabalan and wife, Kim Hock, Guan Siew and Chor Eong (CEO) all the way from S’pore. We were very happy to have Kheng Boon rejoin our Friday group. The usual kaki are Poh Chan, Goh Lim, Shin Tiad and wife. We miss Cheng Wah (Allan) and Master Chan who couldn’t wake up in time to join our company. Our School anthem and some scouting songs were sung to facilitate some old memories. Dr. Sak was definitely the best speaker at the table. He has so many stories to tell especially his sojourn with Hoe Yang around Malaysia and the world. We wish we could join him. We do hear many personal stories from the group. The best topic is personal health.
Chor Eong showed us he bought 2 big lobsters for RM120.00 n 4 flower crabs for RM40.00 from the fisherman near Ocean Green Seafood Restaurant. Dr. Sak countered he bought the lobster for only RM50.00 each at the Pulau Tikus Market. We stayed until past 2.00 pm before we bid each other goodbye.
It was indeed a very meaningful meet. Hope more will join us at our next meet
