The 1st Friday Group thought of a Chinese New Year Gathering for the class of '61. They presumed that the date 8/2/2019 should coincide with their mates home- coming and thus, able to join the group. But alas, there was no new faces to be seen on that evening. Perhaps, there was not enough planning and/or lack of communication. Hopefully, a CNY Gathering could be arranged in the near future like the one we had at Evergreen Laurel on 12/2/2018.
Our 2nd 1st Friday Gathering for 2019, met on 8/2/2019, the 4th Day of CNY. We had a joyful time even though the café was filled with tourists. The band was on holiday and we heard piped music playing Chinese New songs throughout the evening.
Wishing all those we missed on that evening 'Keong Hee Huat Chye'. Cheers!!
